Deadly Pasta
Squid ink linguine's striking black color is an easy way to impress guests at your Halloween bash. It's an affordable side dish, perfect for groups, and easy to dress up with "bloody" tomato sauce and "ghostly" white asparagus and cauliflower. A half-cup serving with ¼ cup of sauce and each of the veggies runs well under 300 calories.
Ingredients:
16-oz "Deadly" Ravello Fresh Squid Ink Pasta
16-oz Slow Cooked "Bloody" Tomato Sauce
Optional:
"Bone" White Asparagus
Cauliflower "Brains"
Directions
Prepare pasta according to package directions. Drain. Prepare sauce according to package directions. Steam asparagus and cauliflower lightly for 2-5 minutes, or to desired doneness. Plate pasta on a large platter and pour the sauce in the center.
Optional
Add vegetables to decorate for the holiday and to boost nutrition. Cut asparagus into usable pieces to create "bony hands" etc. Decorate with bones (asparagus) and brains (cauliflower) as desired.

Spooky Sodas
Personalized sodas are fun for kids and adults to concoct to their preference. These spooky sodas benefit from being more natural, no-sugar-added alternatives to regular soda. "Monster" raisin "bugs" add fiber, vitamins, and minerals. 100% fruit juices come with vitamins and minerals, too.
Ingredients
Plain seltzer water
Your choice of 100% juices
Optional:
Jumbo Raisin "Monster Bugs"
Directions
For a party of 20, provide 5 liters of seltzer water and 2 quarts of juice. Let guests play "mad scientist" and come up with their very own soda.
Optional
Put out a bowl of jumbo raisins for guests to add an extra Halloween flair to their spooky soda. FreshDirect has a 16 oz package that should be plenty for a party of 20 to use as the finishing touch.
