Sara Paxton Lives 'The Beautiful Life' In A New Series

One of the newer faces to the CW family, actress Sara Paxton stopped by the studio to talk about her leading role as model Raina Mayer on the new show The Beautiful Life.

Paxton plays a small town girl Raina who makes a big debut when A-list model Sonja Stone (Mischa Barton) fails to fit into a designer's closing dress during a fashion show. She's living the glamorous and sexy life of high fashion models in New York City when she meets midwesterner Chris Andrews (Ben Hollingsworth), who is discovered by a talent agent while on a family trip to the Big Apple. Raina helps Chris cope with the fast-paced city as more fashion drama unfolds. The series also stars Corbin Bleu, Ashley Madekwe, Elle Macpherson and Nico Tortorella.

A native of Los Angeles, Paxton started her career at age 6 in commericals. She's a familiar face to the network as she was a regular on Greetings from Tucson and Summerland, opposite 90210's Lori Loughlin, Her other acting credits include movie Aquamarine, opposite Emma Roberts and JoJo, and the TV series Malcolm in the Middle, Will & Grace, CSI and CSI: Miami. Paxton currently resides in New York City, where The Beautiful Life is filmed.
