Matt Damon Stars As 'The Informant!'

Emily Frances sat down with the stars of the new movie The Informant!.

The Informant! focuses on Mark Whitacre (Matt Damon), a businessman-turned-haphazard-goverment-informant. When the federal government decides to go after an agri-business giant with a price-fixing accusation after receiving incriminating evidence submitted by Mark, the company's vice president, they turn the whistleblower into an informant. The problem: Mark is a terrible and completely conspicuous undercover operative.

Melanie Lynskey stopped by yesterday to talk about her role as Mark's wife Ginger. Other stars in the movie include Scott Bakula and Joel McHale.

Damon also spoke to Emily about One x One, a charity he founded that is partnered with carefully selected local organizations to improve a child's overall well-being in five catergories: water, hunger, healthcare, education and play. For more information, visit www.onexone.org.
