Singer Tina Parol Says 'Hold Onto Your Heart'

Singer Tina Parol stopped by the studio to perform her singles "Hold Onto Your Heart" and "Who's Got Your Money?".
When she was 11, Parol wrote her first song "Gypsy Woman." When she grew up, she studied record engineering at New York University. Among her major influences are The Police, Blondie, Queen and The Clash. Not surprisingly, Parol says music is her biggest passion in life. When she's with her friends, she says they don't call her Tina -- they call her Miss Rainbowbrite because of her colorful clothing selection. She cites Debbie Harry as her biggest fashion inspiration and Vivienne Westwood as her favorite designer.

The first performance was absolutely horrible. American Idol wouldn't have let her see the judges. I'll assume it was nerves but how someone like this gets a record deal is an absolute mystery. Does WPIX audition people first before they put them on? After the first song, there was one person clapping. Must've been her mom.
