Thomas' Contest Winner Silvia Tjioe Shows Us How To Make Berry Toast

Our first winner is recent college graduate Silvia Tjioe from Flushing, Queens! She's showing us how to make her winning Thomas' Berry Toast recipe.

Thomas' Berry Toast by Silvia Tjioe
Ingredients
4 Thomas' Original (or your choice) English Muffins
1 cup of half and half
3 medium eggs
1/2 teaspoon of salt
5 tablespoon of honey (or sugar)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
4 tablespoon of butter
1 cup of mixed berries (frozen or fresh)
1/3 cup of water

Directions
1. In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup of half and half, 3 medium eggs, a pinch (or ¼ teaspoon) of salt, 2 tablespoons of honey (or sugar), and 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla.

2. Pour mixture over Thomas' Original English Muffins, allow muffins to soak for 30 second on each side.

3. Over a medium-low heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick saute pan and cook 3 pieces of muffin at a time until golden brown or approximately 3 to 4
minutes.

4. In a sauce pan, melt 1 tablespoon of butter with 1 cup of berries, ¼ teaspoon of salt, 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract, 1/3 cup of water, and 3 tablespoons of honey (or sugar) over medium heat.

5. Once sauce thickens, spread over the golden Thomas' English Muffins. Enjoy!
