'Degrassi Goes Hollywood' And So Do Actors Lauren Collins, Adamo Ruggiero

Actors Lauren Collins and Adamo Ruggiero stopped by to talk about their roles in the original television movie Degrassi Goes Hollywood.
In The N's first-ever original two-hour movie, Degrassi Goes Hollywood follows the high school students as they travel to Los Angeles to audition (and hopefully get) roles in a musical directed by actor Jason Mewes.
Collins was born in Toronto and stars as the troubled diva Paige Michalchuk on Degrassi: The Next Generation. She has appeared in several television films including Virtual Mom and What Girls Learn.
Ruggiero was born in Mississauga, Ontario and has been acting since the age of eight. He has appeared in many plays including "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Bye-Bye Birdie." In Degrassi: The Next Generation Ruggiero stars as Marco Del Rossi a gay teenager who struggles with coming to terms with his sexuality.
Degrassi Goes Hollywood premieres on Friday, August 14 at 8 p.m. on The N. For more information, visit www.the-n.com.
