Director Judd Apatow Talks About The 'Funny People' In His Life

Screenwriter, producer, and director Judd Apatow stopped by to talk about his new movie Funny People.
Funny People stars Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen and wife Leslie Mann in the story of a famous comedian (Sandler) who has a near-death experience and what he does when gets a second chance at life.
In 2005, Apatow became the hottest director to hit Hollywood when he made his directorial debut with the huge comedy hit The 40-Year-Old Virgin. The film not only put him on the map, it ushered in a new era of R-rated comedies with heart. In 2007, his sophomore movie – the fertile funny film Knocked Up – was another huge hit which was universally hailed the “comedy of the summer."
Apatow started off as a radio show host while still in high school. After graduation Judd began a career as a stand-up comedian, appearing as a regular on Fox's Comic Strip Live. He then moved on work on writing and producing. He was a writer and producer on The Ben Stiller Show and The Larry Sanders Show.
Funny People is in theaters now. For more information, visit www.funnypeoplemovie.com.
