Joan Rivers Wants To Know 'How'd You Get So Rich?'

Authoress, comedienne and host Joan Rivers stopped by the studio to talk about her new TV series How'd You Get So Rich?.

The show follows Rivers as she explores the lifestyles of the fabulously rich (and lucky) who made their millions not on Wall Street, but by creating products like Billy Bob Teeth and Butt Paste. According to TV Land, "Rivers -- no slouch in the indulgence department -- leaves no stone unturned in getting to the story behind the moneybags who walk, or rather drive their Ferraris, among us. In this funny and engaging series she searches the country to find out how wealthy people got that way and, more importantly, how they spend their money. It's an escapist fantasy and an inspirational tale for these tough times." How'd You Get So Rich? premiered on August 5.

A native New Yorker hailing from Brooklyn, Rivers is known as a raunchy, politically incorrect stand-up comedienne. She often pokes fun at herself during her acts. Rivers has hosted several TV shows, acted on the big and small screen and recently performed an autobiographical play on London's West End. Outside of comedy, Rivers is on the board of God's Love We Deliver, is the national chairwoman of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and gives lectures around the world on suicide prevention and survival.
