90210 Actress Jennie Garth Talks About How She's Helping To 'Save The Children'

90210 actress Jennie Garth and Charles F. MacCormack, CEO of Save The Children, stopped by the studio to talk about how you can help needy children just by shopping at T.J. Maxx.
Save the Children provides aid and the basic necessities kids need to ensure success at school and through life. This year, MacCormack recruited Garth to bring attention to the cause and show consumers how they can help provide basics to needy children with a $0.99 purchase.
Beginning today, August 6, all T.J. Maxx stores will carry limited edition reusable shopping bags, designed with Save the Children original children's artwork, for each $0.99 bag purchased, the retailer will donate one basic item such as: socks, underwear and backpacks to Save the Children's U.S. programs.
Garth will host a Manhattan event today and purchase the ceremonial the first shopping and toss the donated basics into a giant six-foot shopping bag.
She also spoke about the new season of 90210. Rumors say that Kelly's (Garth) guidance counselor role will reportedly come into play as she is rumored to be the first person to uncover Annie Wilson's (Shenae Grimes) alleged hit-and-run in the season finale. Garth's husband is Peter Facinelli, who plays vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen of the Twilight movie series, whith whom she shares three daughters ages 12, 6 and 3.
