Check Bounces When Hall 'Refunds' Woman For Hosting Baby Shower

A New Jersey woman booked a catering hall for her daughter's baby shower. She paid $2,500 for the event, but on the day of the party they discovered that the hall had double-booked and they had been moved to a smaller room to make way for a wedding. When she complained, the hall promised to refund half her money back. But when she got the check, it bounced, so she called Help Me Howard.
