7 Miles Of Manhattan Closed In August

Nearly seven miles of Manhattan streets will be free of cars for three days this month!
Park Avenue and connecting streets from the Brooklyn Bridge to Central Park will be closed to vehicles from 7am to 1pm on Saturday, August 8, 15, and 22.
It's the second year of the Summer Streets Program -- aiming to encourage New Yorkers to embrace alternate forms of transportation.
