Gear Up For This Year's LAMC With Pili Montilla

PiliMontilla.jpg

Pili Montilla is a host of PIX's very own digital station LATV, a bilingual music and entertainment network. The network features Latino-themed programming aimed at young adults aged 18 to 34, including the animated comedy show Ceasar and Chuy. LATV's programming offers a range of content that includes multi-genre music, lifestyle and entertainment. The network gives us a taste of an array of programming that is original and exclusive featuring top performers in the Latin music world.

This week, Montilla is in New York covering the 10th Annual LAMC (Latin Alternative Music Conference). This year, the event will take place from July 7-11 at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City. Featuring leading artists as well as many of the music industry’s most prominent decision-makers, the highly-anticipated event is a “must play” event for developing and established acts alike. Among the events planned are free concerts at Central Park SummerStage and Celebrate Brooklyn Festival at the Prospect Park Bandshell, as well as numerous industry panels, showcases and film screenings for LAMC registrants.

Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Montilla is a famed actress and presenter is the host of three LATV's most popular programs: En La Zona LATV News, and En Concierto. The entertainment show covers the red carpet events for Hollywood premieres of movies like Pineapple Express and Che. You can find out more information on these programs by visiting www.latv.com/coverage.
