Dance Week - Day 3: Argentine Tango

Dance Week continues with a tango lesson from Lincoln Center's "Midsummer Night Swing" dancers.

Victoria Sarquisse and Federico Jorquera from Midsummer Night's Swing will be performing to a song by Otros Aires -- an Argentinean based electro tango group that mixes tango and milongas songs from the early 20th Century with electric melodies, sequences and lyrics from the 21st century for a unique sound.

Whether it's swing or salsa, tango or rockabilly, you don't want to be caught out on the dance floor this summer without the proper attire! From the 1940s zoot suits for swing-dancing men to the sexy, bare ruffles on salsa-dancing women, there are many different styles to totally outfit oneself on the dance floor. Lincoln Center's Midsummer Night Swing affords New Yorkers the opportunity to pull out these great clothes and dance the night away in Damrosch Park. For 15 dazzling nights, dancers of all levels and all ages can groove to the sounds of the world's most popular dance bands.
