Celebrity Chef Johnny Ciao Reminisces About The Late Michael Jackson

Lisa Mateo sat down with celebrity chef Johnny Ciao shared with us his personal Michael Jackson story. He spent a year with Michael Jackson from 1989 to 1990 after Jackson collapsed while touring in Singapore. Additionally, he stayed with him at the Neverland Ranch, preparing meals to nurse him back to health. Ciao asserted that Michael Jackson was a man who really loved life and was a boy at heart.
After spending close to two decades in entertainment management and production where he always loved to cook for his celebrity clients, Johnny found a unique fusion between music and food. Aside from cooking for Jackson, Ciao acquired a solid reputation as an articulate culinary artist who has served the Grateful Dead, Carlos Santana, Willie Nelson, the late Marlon Brando and Gregory Peck, Whitney Houston, Hank Aaron, Mayor Ed Koch, and many other music, sports and political figures.

May the Lord God bless you for using your talent and passion for food and culinary arts as a blessing to others. You are a very self-less person for it, and I'm sure if those whom you have served who no longer walk among us could speak they would thank you dearly.
