Funnyman Bobby Lee Talks About Performing At Caroline's

Comedian and MadTV player Bobby Lee stopped by the show to talk about his upcoming performance at Carolines on Broadway.
A native of San Diego, California, Lee joined the MadTV cast in its eight season in 2001 and became their first cast member of Asian descent. His eight-year tenure with the sketch comedy series makes him one of the longest-running cast members on the show and puts him in the league of Michael McDonald, Aries Spears and Debra Wilson.
Over the years, Lee has portrayed various male and female public figures like Kim Jong-il, Connie Chung, George Takei, Jackie Chan and Lucy Liu. He has also played non-Asian characters like John McCain and Jai Rodriguez. Lee also created new characters for the show such as Blind Kung Fu Master, Tank, Xing Lao "Johnny" Gan and Bae Sung.
You can catch Lee at Caroline's tonight, July 23 thru Sunday, July 26. Caroline's On Broadway is located at 1626 Broadway, New York, NY 10019. For ticket and show information, call (212) 757-4100 or visit www.carolines.com. For more information on Lee, visit www.myspace.com/iambobbylee.
