'Adam' Has Rose Byrne Starring In An Unlikely Love Story

Rose Byrne talked with us about starring in the new film Adam.
In the movie, Hugh Dancy stars as Adam Raki, a lonely man with Asperger's Syndrome who develops a relationship with his upstairs neighbor, Beth Buchwald, a brainy, beautiful writer damaged from a past relationship, played by Byrne. Beth and Adam's ultimate connection leads to a tricky relationship that exemplifies something universal: truly reaching another person means bravely stretching into uncomfortable territory and the resulting shake-up can be liberating. The film has garnered the Sundance 2009 Alfred P. Sloane Award.
Byrne hails from Australia and is most notable for her ongoing role of Ellen Parsons in the television series Damages. Further, she has been featured in a number of blockbusters, including 28 Weeks Later, Troy, and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.
Adam hits theaters on Wednesday, July 29 and will play at The Angelika and Lincoln Plaza. For more information, visit www.foxsearchlight.com/adam.
