Z100 DJ Shelley Wade's Weight Loss Journey

Many would agree that it's difficult to lose weight and even harder? Doing it in the public eye. Many celebs make it seem too easy and unrealistic but one local radio DJ is keeping it real as she takes her weightloss battle public.
We're talking about about none other than Z100's Shelley Wade and her weight loss journey. Wade has made a few food changes, including:
• Uses Celtic sea salt instead of regular salt
• Uses organic cane sugar instead of white sugar
• Drinks sparkling water instead of soda
You can listen to Shelley Wade on Z100 every weekday from 2am to 5am. To read Wade's weight loss blog and for more information on her, visit zzone.z100.com/shelley.

Thank you for speaking about your issues with weight--I've always tried NOT to focus too much on my weight, because it would only make me want to eat more. While I carry my weight very well, when most people look forward to the summer months, I dread it. I was 128lbs all through high school (1984-1988), and at 38 years old, I'm over 200lbs. Luckily I don't look my age and I'm tall, but I don't want my 10-year old daughter to grow up with the same complexes I have about weight, as I am also a carboholic emo-eater. Thanks again, and good luck on your journey!
