SHAPE Magazine's snack awards are divided up into three categories. To qualify as a best snack, a product had to meet these five nutritional criteria:
• Have 200 calories or less per serving (except the mini meals)
• Contain 0 grams of artery clogging trans-fat and no more than 3.5 grams of saturated fat.
• Have no high-fructose corn syrup.
• Have no more than 400 milligrams of sodium (excluding mini meals).
• Offer nutritional extras, like portion-controlled packs, whole grains, or additional vitamins and minerals.
100 Calories or Less
