It doesn't matter if he goes how long he goes to jail because the damage is done. He has traveled the world in luxury, so I believe he has no remorse. If he goes to jail the public will be responsible in his everyday care through taxes. No matter how long he is in jail it will never bring back what those people has lost.

He should never see the light of day. I hope he gets the Maximum allowed under the law which is 120 yrs. He destroyed the lives of many & there fore should never be free to do it again.

I PERSONALLY THINK THAT MADOFF SHOULD BE SENTENCED TO SOMETHING WHERE HE COULD START MAKING RESTITUTION TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT HE SCAMMED. HE OBVIOUSLY IS GOOD AT MAKING MONEY, SO FORCE HIM TO MAKE MONEY AGAIN, AND EVERY PENNY HE MAKES GO TO THAT LONG LIST OF PEOPLE. THAT SHOULD TAKE HIM THE REST OF HIS LIFE.

madoff should get a stiff sentence pf 100+ years that should be suspended.he has already suffered enough.the weeks of house arrest had to be terrible.having to eat lunch with his wife had to be extremely painful.now that she has to live on only 2.5 million in cash instead of the 68 million she said was her personal funds is enough incentive for her to torment him into oblivion....

He should be suspended naked in midair by his wrists while EACH AND EVERY PERSON he swindled should be given a stick and allowed to hit him like a piñata until all his victims have gotten in at least one good shot!
