Free Friday: Jazz Concerts, Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt

Each week we're telling viewers about events, activities and items that are free. That's right! No money required.

This week's free list:
1. BMI Jazz Composers Workshop will have an evening of Jazz concerts; Fri at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm)
2. Pinkberry yogurt introduces their new summer flavors (coconut pinkberry and passionfruit pinkberry). They're giving away free small new yogurt flavors swirled together; Friday from 5pm-9pm at 15 different NYC locations

Big Band Jazz Celebrated At Acclaimed BMI Jazz Composer Workshops 21st Annual Showcase Concert
Friday, June 26 at 7:30 p.m. Seating is first-come, first served; doors open at 7p.m.
Christ and St. Stephen's Church20(120 West 69th Street) at 7:30p.m.

The BMI Jazz Composers Workshop, a noted creative forum for musical exploration and development, will highlight the best new jazz compositions created during the last year at its 21st Annual Showcase Concert. The evening will feature a competition to choose the winner of the BMI Foundation's tenth annual Charlie Parker Jazz Composition Prize, which will be given to the writer of the best new work composed in the Workshop.

Free Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt
Pinkberry frozen yogurt (not ice cream) is offering free Pinkberry on Friday from 5 pm - 9 pm (or until supplies last) in celebration of the new Coconut Pinkberry and Passionfruit Pinkberry frozen yogurt. Each of Pinkberry's 15 NYC locations will be giving out cups of the two new flavors swirled together (which is what we'll bring the anchors to try).
