Director Duncan Jones Shoots For The 'Moon'

Film director Duncan Jones stopped by the studio to discuss making his directorial debut with the new film Moon, which debuts on June 12 in theaters.
Moon stars Sam Rockwell as Sam Bell, a solitary astronaut is on the cusp of completing a three-year contrat job to mine energy from the moon for Lunar Industries. However, with sudden hallucinations and deteroriating health, Sam has a near fatal accident on a routine drive on the moon's surface. Sam recuperates at base with no memory of how he got there and encounters a younger version of himself who says he has just started his three-year job.
Jones, the son of rock and roll legend David Bowie, is a native of Beckenham, Kent, England. He graduated with a degree in philosophy from the College of Wooster and went on to continue his education at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. But before he completed his PhD degree, he left to attend London Film School, where he graduated as a director.
