Designer Creates Affordable Clothingline For Teachers

Lisa visits a high school that is involved in the PENCIL program and talks to award-winning fashion designer Norma Kamali. She's a long time supporter of NYC schools and holds teachers in the highest regard.
As one of the noblest professions Kamali believes that if teachers are going to inspire confidence and command respect, they need to exhibit professionalism just as a CEO might in a boardroom. So she has designed a line of suites that are functional and fashionable so as to be affordable for teachers around the country.
Lisa visits a high school that is involved in the program. Its the same high school which Norma attended. Now she's giving back by providing an internship for students. Norma also designed work clothing for the teachers and other faculty members at the school.
