Jersey Girl Teyona Anderson Named 'America's Next Top Model'

teyona0514.jpg

The came down to a neck-toneck race between Allison and Teyona in the season finale of America's Next Top Model. But ultimately, Tyra Banks and her panel of judges decided that Jersey girl Teyona Anderson was Top Model material.

Before the Top Model compatition, Teyona, 20, was a loss prevention representative. She hails from Woodstown, New Jersey and always wanted to be a model since she was a little girl. But Teyona quite nearly didn't audition for the show at all and described her audition as more of a spur-of-the-moment decision.

As winner of the series, Teyona gets a contract with Elite Model Management, a six page spread and a cover page of Seventeen Magazine and $100,000 contract with Cover Girl cosmetics.

Be sure to check out the extra exclusive interviews Teyona gave with PIX afer the jump. For more on Teyona and America's Next Top Model, visit www.wpix.com/shows/cw/americasnexttopmodel.
