Suki 26: It's The Final Week Of My Second Trimester
Hi Everyone,
This is the final week of my second trimester. I'm feeling great and things are already starting to happen. I'm definitely in the nesting phase and anything you put near me will be organized, cleaned and put away. I think I'm driving my husband crazy :) Well, I'm sure I already did that along time ago. Ha!!
In regards to the baby, its eyelids have finally open and I guess my little one is taking a look at it's tiny surrounds. I hope the baby is comfortable and happy. It's weird but I worry about everything. Am I eating enough vegetables and fish? Am I exercising enough? I guess this is the begining of feeling guility all the time. Welcome to motherhood, hugh!
Speaking of all the time, this baby is very active and it kicks all the time. In fact, something funny happened this week. Eric asked the baby to kick once if it was a girl or twice if it was a boy. Well, the baby responded and it kicked once. I could not believe it and it made me laugh out loud. We still don't know the sex of the baby so this was our non-scientific experiment.
On a side note, I've also been addicted to the Discovery show, Babies: Special Delivery. They're kind of scary to watch so I'm hoping those classes at Real Birth will help out.
I'll keep you posted and let's hope the rain stops and the sun comes out.

Congrats Suki. You look marvelous, you are just glowing all over the place girl! Enjoy this time carrying your little one--you wil bond so much besides the conversations--you will always cherish this time. I still do and my son is 24 years old.

I think it's great the way you are enjoying your pregancy. I'm so happy for you. You look great, I remember when it was anounced that you got married and look now you are having a baby. That's so cool. I love all you guys from the Morning News and also from the News at Ten, never miss either one. I start work at 7am sometimes,so when I get to work I put my cd player/walkman on channel 11 so I won't miss anything. I can't see you, but I could hear what's going on. Keep up the good work you and everyone that work so well on these two news programs.

you look amazing, am glad that all is going well. i agree with Eric, i think is a girl too. you are surrounded with so many handsome guys. John is my favorite, but Dr. Steve is a looker too. Ha! am sure that the baby kicks alot when you are around them.
as for being afraid, it happens to first time mom, i went thru it 19yrs ago. you're goign to be a great mom, and you have great people to support you.

Hi Suki you look great. I was surprised when I saw that you were pregnant.I had missed channel 11 due to my work schedule. I am so HAppy for you and your husband, being pregnant is a wonderful feeling. All I can say to you is that I have 2 kids 25, 10 I know so far apart, lol and the best advice I can give you is relax and enjoy. When it comes to that day relax your whole body (psych)yourself out mentally) and it will be less painful. Both of my children were born natural. GOOD LUCK TO YOU !!
