Subway Sound Week: Traditional Korean Drummer Vongku Pak

It's Subway Sounds Week on the PIX Morning News and we're bringing the talented performers from underground to midtown! Today we're featuring traditional Korean drummer Vongku Pak.
Pak has performed all over the world and even locally at Carnegie Hall. But straphangers can also hear his music in subway stations as part of the MTA's "Music Under New York" program.
Yesterday, we kicked off the week with Acapella Soul. Be sure to tune in tomorrow when we have The Baby Soda Jazz Band.
For details on Vongku's classes and workshops and for more information on upcoming performances, log onto www.koreandrum.org or call (718) 434-4057. For more on the MTA's "music Under New York" program, visit www.mta.info/mta/aft/muny.

How about the 'Saw Lady'( http://www.sawlady.com/blog )? I've been seeing her playing the musical saw at the 14th street subway station for years. She is fantastic!
Bring her on!
