Week-Long Celebration To Honor 100-Year-Old Queensboro Bridge

The Queensboro or 59th Street Bridge (whichever you like calling it) has undoubtedly served its purpose by giving us countless memories and so much history over the years.
As it celebrates a huge milestone, the bridge truly deserves a party fit for a queen. And we're sure you'll agree that even as it turns 100-years-old, it doesn't look a day over 50.
In honor of the bridge's centennial is a week-long birthday bash that starts on Sunday, May 31. It will include a reenactment of the first trip over the bridge and other festivities.
