Perfecting Your Imperfections With These Easy Make-Up Tips

makeup0505.jpg

Whether its to highlight your cheekbones or give you the luscious lips you weren't born with, make-up can do wonders. Celebrity makeup artist Chase Aston has been creating flawless faces one makeup-brushstroke at a time and he's here sharing a few of his secrets of the trade. Aston will go over:

• Eyes: how to make them look bigger/wider or brighter
• Cheeks: how to create cheekbones/slim face
• Lips: how to make them appear fuller

• EYES
Top Tip: Make small eyes appear bigger and brighter, take a white eye-liner pencil and line the inner rim of the lower eye-lid. Take silver eye-shimmer and line along the inner corners of the top and bottom eye-lid, and under the arch of the brow, to make eyes appear bigger, brighter and wider. It's an instant eye-lift in seconds.

• CHEEKS
Top Tip: To create razor-sharp cheekbones, blow a kiss, then using either a matt bronzing powder or darker blusher shade, blend into the hollow of the cheeks, then smile, and using a rosy pink blusher, apply to the apple of the cheeks and along the cheekbones.
Top Tip: To slim and contour the face, take a light matte bronzing powder or taupe/skin tone shade blusher, and shade along onto the temples, cheeks and along the jaw-line, to naturally shape, shade and define your face.

• Lips:
Top Tip: To make small/thin lips appear fuller, first take a concealer and smooth over your natural lip line, then take a nude/natural lip liner pencil and draw just over your natural lip line, all around the lips, now take a pinky-brown lip liner pencil and fill in the centre of the lips, now using your finger , softly pat all over the lips, blending the two shades together. Finally take a little gloss with a hint of pink, and apply to the centre of the lips, pucker down and your ready to go!
