North Hempstead Fireworks To Light Up The Sky This Weekend
Featuring a stirring tribute to our armed forces, a trio of classic rock tribute bands and a spectacular fireworks display, North Hempstead's 2009 annual Memorial Day weekend celebration promises to maintain bragging rights as arguably the best beachfront bash around.
A prelude to the town's summer season of exciting concerts and events in our parks, the May 23rd festival at North Hempstead Beach Park on West Shore Road in Port Washington starts at 6 pm. The rain date is Sunday, May 24.
