Join Former Mets Mookie Wilson At A Free Baseball Clinic

New York Mets Hall of Famer and fan favorite Mookie Wilson stopped to talk about how you can hit the baseball field with him at a free event. He was the left-fielderwho was part of the 1986 World Series Mets team.
Wilson talked about this Saturday's baseball clinic in Harlem. During the two hour clinic, coaches will conduct in a series of live-action drills, including hitting, strategy of the game, base-stealing and bunting techniques.
The clinic is sponsored by the Richmond, Virginia-based Metropolitan Junior Baseball League and is part of their overall mandate to encourage kids to get involved in America's national pastime again, especially among African-American youth where there has been a significant drop in interest due to the lack of the number of African-American players over the last decade.
The one-day clinic is open to boys and girls, ages 5 through 19 and will be held at Annunciation Field in Harlem at 10 this Saturday. For more information on the Metropolitan Junior Baseball League's Mookie Wilson Baseball Clinic, visit www.mjbl.org.
