Jack-Of-All-Trades Chris Hardwick Serves Up Some 'Web Soup'

chris0827.jpg

Freelance writer and stand-up comedian Chris Hardwick came by to talk about hosting the new show, Web Soup on G4.

The new show comes from the producers of The Soup and offers viewers a taste of viral videos in a fast-paced, unfiltered format. Web Soup will do for internet videos what The Soup does for TV. The show will also feature themed segments like The Daily Upload, This Week in FAIL and Things You Can’t Un-See, as well as recurring characters and other surprises. Hardwick makes for the ideal host of the show, given his deep knowledge of digital culture.

Hardwick has recently hosted Wired Science on PBS and is a contributor for Wired magazine. He is also a voice actor, providing voices for talking animals on Chop Socky Chooks on Cartoon Network and Back at the Barnyard on Nickelodeon.

Hardwick will also be starring as David Newman in the upcoming Rob Zombie Halloween flick, H2, which is set for release on August 28.

Web Soup debuts Sunday, June 7 at 9 pm G4.

I don't think it was a good idea for Emily Frances to admit that she doesnt really get twitter. I'm a big Emily fan but I was a little suprised how out the loop she sounded talking to this clown about tweetin'. With all the subtle references to her not being a spring chicken no more every week, she should be on top of things like twitter which is probably the most visible celebrity gossip tool out there.

Bring back Julie Chang, or at least give Tiff more air time
