How To Cook Like A Pro This Memorial Day

bbq0525.jpg

Let the grilling begin! Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of summer and a great time to kick off your summer grilling season.

Executive Chef Joe Raiola from Morton’s Steakhouse's Brooklyn location showed our Kristina Behr how to grill like a pro.

His tips were:
- Rub grill with canola or a vegetable oil prior to keep foods from sticking
- Keep temperature high and don’t put meat on until the grill has been on at 20 minutes
- Meat should be at room temperature before you put it on the grill
- Don’t overcook the meat, opt for medium rare and medium

If you want to leave the cooking to the professional, just stop by your local Morton’s Steakhouse at the following locations:
- Brooklyn, 339 Adams Street, New York Marriott at Brooklyn Bridge
- Great Neck, 777 Northern Blvd., Long Island
- Manhattan, 551 5th Ave (entrance on 45th St.)
- White Plains, 9 Maple Avenue
