Help Me Howard: Family Can't Get Deposit Back After Apt. Deal Falls Through
A Queens family gave a local real estate office $1,450 as a deposit for an apartment. The wife is 8 ½ months pregnant and they needed a place to settle before the impending birth. But when the landlord backed out at the last minute and then the real estate office refused to return the family's deposit, they called Help Me Howard.
