Free Friday: Senior Prom, Health Services

Each week we're telling viewers about events, activities and items that are free. That's right! No money required.

On this week's free list:
1. Senior Prom for adults and seniors on Staten Island
2. St. Vincent's Hospital hosts a day for Mind, Body, Spirit with free services that include: yoga, blood pressure screenings, acupuncture, etc. in Manhattan

The Senior Prom
Friday, May 29 from 7pm to 9pm
Location: Conference House Park, Conference House Pavilion, Staten Island

A dance for adults and seniors. A King and Queen will be announced during the festivities.

St. Vincent's Mind, Bpdy, Spirit Health Services
On Saturday, May 30th from 10am to 4pm, St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan will host a day for Mind, Body and Spirit to help New Yorkers whose mental, physical and spiritual health is suffering from the economic downturn.

Free services and resources will include physician-led yoga, depression screenings, group therapy, stress exercises, blood pressure screenings, healthy cooking demos, acupuncture, reflexology, and information on how to take care of yourself and your family during these tough times, even if you've lost health insurance.

St. Vincent's medical experts will host seminars on important health topics while the Human Resources team, in collaboration with the Urban Justice Center, will be on hand to provide guidance on expert career, employment and financial advice. Mass will be offered at 5pm in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Chapel following the day's events. Healthy refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
