Chandra Wilson Talks About The Season Finale Of 'Grey's Anatomy'

She plays Dr. Miranda Bailey on the ABC television drama, Grey's Anatomy: Chandra Wilson spoke with us about the hit show's upcoming season finale, as well as what the residents of Seattle Grace Hospital have in store for themselves in the future.

In the series' fifth season, Meredith Grey and Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd are through with tormenting themselves over the romantic feelings they might have towards each other, and now find themselves facing the highs and lows of being a committed couple. Meanwhile, Meredith, Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens and Alex Karev have interns of their own to mentor, including Meredith's half-sister, Lexie Grey. Lexie has become a roommate and confidante to George O'Malley.

Wilson's first regular network TV role was in the short-lived series Bob Patterson, which starred Seinfeld's Jason Alexander. She also appeared on Law & Order, Sex and the City, and The Sopranos. For her work in Grey's Anatomy, Wilson was nominated in 2006, 2007 and 2008 for an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. She was nominated and won the Screen Actors Guild Award in 2007 for Outstanding Female Actor in a Drama Series; she also won a SAG Award as part of the Grey's Anatomy cast, which won Best Ensemble in a Drama Series.
