He's defying death one stunt at a time--television personality Jesse James spoke with us about his new show, Jesse James is a Dead Man.

The show will feature James prepping himself and executing death-defying challenges, such as riding in the treacherous Baja 500 off-road race or speeding at more than 200 mph on a nitro-methane-charged motorcycle.

A California native, James is the CEO of West Coast Choppers, a manufacturer of custom-made motorcycles. He is also the host of Motorcycle Mania--a show which chronicled his day-to-day goings-on. This venture later springboarded Monster Garage on the Discovery Channel.

The premise of this latter show had James and a crew of mechanics modifying vehicles under a short deadline. In addition, he appeared on the second season of Celebrity Apprentice.

Catch the series premiere of Jesse James is a Dead Man on Spike TV on May 31.
