Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi came by to talk about her new fine jewelry collection called "Padma."
"Padma" consists of an assortmentn of necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and rings designed by Lakshmi herself. Her taste is heavily influenced by her life in The West, America, and Europe. She created delicate and modern versions of the jewerly she encountered--pieces that would complement everything from jeans to gowns. As a model, Lakshmi has appeared on the cover of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire (India Edition), Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country, and Newsweek. Lakshmi also posed nude for the May 2009 issue of Allure magazine. Her acting credits include the 2001's Glitter with Mariah Carey. She has been the host of Top Chef since the show's second season, and has remained so up until its current sixth season.
