Henson was nominated for an Oscar for her star-turning role as Queenie. The film garnered three Academy Awards, including Best Art Direction, Best Visual Effects, and Best Makeup. Henson is also acclaimed for her roles as Yvette in Baby Boy and Shug in Hustle and Flow.

"The authors discuss the pros and cons of such interventions as episiotomies, epidurals and electronic monitors, and encourage women to carefully question their practitioners and hospital personnel. Above all, the authors advocate a safe and empowered birth, whether one chooses a hospital, home or birth center."

Swedish indie rock band Peter, Bjorn and John spoke with Emily about their rise to stardom as per having their music featured on CW shows Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill, as well as The Hills.
Formed in 1999 in Stockholm, Sweden, the band is comprised of Peter Morén (vocals, guitar and harmonica), Björn Yttling (bass guitar, keyboards and vocals) and John Eriksson (drums, percussion and vocals). Their sound is influenced by the sounds of classic '60s baroque pop, power pop, and new wave. They are best known for the 2006 single "Young Folks," and their work has been sampled by the likes of Kanye West.
Their latest album, titled Living Thing, is a follow up to their last effort, Writer's Block. Living Thing is considerably darker in its undertones than its predecessor and aims at being more austere. Our Larry Hoff is live at Billy's Bakery in Chelsea making cupcakes for Mother's Day. The bakery is teaming up with fashion designer Rebecca Taylor, who is creating cupcake designes inspired from her spring/summer 2009 runway collection.
The collection includes mixed ethnic prints with a feminine twist in pretty, dreamy colors. Vanilla twinkle by Rebecca Taylor is a light, dreamy treat, made of Billy's "Yellow Daisy" cupcake topped with blue vanilla buttercream and a sprinkle of white crystal sugar and silver dots, which imitates the blue dot chiffon dress from the runway.
"Mocha Meow" was created from billy's chocolate cupcake and special mocha-flavored buttercream with dark and light chocolate sprinkles, resembling the leopard printed pieces in the collection.
You can join Larry at Billy's Bakery, located at 184 9th Avenue in Manhattan. For more information, visit www.billysbakerynyc.com.

We're taking a closer look at the business of cheating with the founder of Noel Biderman, founder of AshleyMadison.com -- a website for both married men and women with a wandering eye and boasts the slogan "Life is short. Have an affair."
If you have questions regarding the topic of commiting internet infidelity or this website, leave them in the comment box below.
The creator of AshleyMadison.com will be live in our studio tomorrow and we'll ask him some of your questions live on-air.

Actor and actress Boris Kodjoe and Nicole Ari Parker will be participating in the R Baby Foundation’s Mother’s Day Run/Walk this Sunday.
The couple will join more than 6,500 regular moms, dads and kids as they walk, run, or stroll in Central Park to raise money for R Baby Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to increasing the standard level of pediatric emergency care.
R Baby was founded by Andrew and Phyllis Rabinowitz after losing their 9-day-old daughter Rebecca Ava to an undiagnosed, untreated viral infection that was missed in the ER. R Baby wants to make sure that all emergency rooms are equipped to handle infants and children in the event that they contract illnesses such as the swine flu, or get into accidents.

Steven Weber is starring in the new Broadway show "The Philanthropist." He also came by to talk about the upcoming season finale of Brothers & Sisters.
Based on Moliere's "The Misanthrope," "The Philanthropist" is a biting comedy starring Matthew Broderick as Philip, a nice-guy professor who – in refusing to succumb to his colleagues' excessively critical ways – winds up destroying his own credibility in the twisted world of academia, and in the bedroom. Weber plays Donald, Philip's best friend and colleague.
Weber also guest starred on the drama series Brothers & Sisters as Graham Finch, a business specialist. The show's season finale will air on May 10 on ABC.
His other television creidits include appearances on Monk, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and Psych. Coincidentally, in 2001-2002, Weber took over for Matthew Broderick as Leo Bloom in the Broadway production of "The Producers."

Hi Everyone,
This is the final week of my second trimester. I'm feeling great and things are already starting to happen. I'm definitely in the nesting phase and anything you put near me will be organized, cleaned and put away. I think I'm driving my husband crazy :) Well, I'm sure I already did that along time ago. Ha!!
In regards to the baby, its eyelids have finally open and I guess my little one is taking a look at it's tiny surrounds. I hope the baby is comfortable and happy. It's weird but I worry about everything. Am I eating enough vegetables and fish? Am I exercising enough? I guess this is the begining of feeling guility all the time. Welcome to motherhood, hugh!
Speaking of all the time, this baby is very active and it kicks all the time. In fact, something funny happened this week. Eric asked the baby to kick once if it was a girl or twice if it was a boy. Well, the baby responded and it kicked once. I could not believe it and it made me laugh out loud. We still don't know the sex of the baby so this was our non-scientific experiment.
On a side note, I've also been addicted to the Discovery show, Babies: Special Delivery. They're kind of scary to watch so I'm hoping those classes at Real Birth will help out.
I'll keep you posted and let's hope the rain stops and the sun comes out.
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms and moms-to-be out there. I'll be thinking of you.
- Sukanya
GRILLED: RICKI LAKE

Ofcourse Ricki Lake prefers hair spray to hair gel...Any fan of her gets why I asked that question...If you don't get it; then forget it. It's so not a big deal.
Since she's the new host of VH1's Charm School, I thought she would say that it's her favorite reality show too. She didn't. She thinks it would be a shameless plug. I personally don't think so because I'm pretty sincere about how I absolutely have no shame in my game.
So if there's one thing I learned from Miss Lake, it's to have some standards. I can't promise anything, but I'll work on it. There are other things you can learn about her if you watch this video of her getting GRILLED. Watch and Learn!
Continue reading GRILLED: RICKI LAKE »GRILLED: Maria Conchita Alonso

Maria Conchita Alonso was once Miss Teen World, then went on to become Miss Venenzuela...oh I'm not done, she then later came in 5th or 6th place at the Miss World pageant. Okay, I've never ever ever been close to being Miss anything, unless Miss-take counts.
She's not all looks though. Miss Alonso was here to talk about her Lifetime movie MANEATER. And talking to her just showed me how sweet, smart and talented she is...But the most surprising fact ashe revealed bout herself didn't surprise me one bit. It's way tooo obvious. See if you notice when she gets GRILLED!
Continue reading GRILLED: Maria Conchita Alonso »GRILLED: Ralph Macchio

If I met Gary Coleman and said What you talking about Willis? I'm pretty sure I'd get punched in the forehead. Maybe not as high as my forehead, I'd probably get punched in the knees. But you can say wax on, wax off to Ralph Macchio all you want, and he wouldn't mind.
Believe me, I did. But he didn't get annoyed. I was expecting some sort of Karate Kid kick to come my way. I got a lot of smiles...There's absolutely nothing ugly about Ralph Macchio who's also appearing on Ugly Betty.
Oh another thing, I'm not sure what it is he's eating or drinking or doing...but he doesn't age AT ALL. I told him he needs to bottle something up and sell it because people (like me) will definitely buy it. If he does, Botox manufacturers will maybe get some not so fine lines and wrinkles as a result of the yet-to-be determined Macchio Ageless Serum...I sound like I'm pimping him out, I know. But I'm not getting paid (yet) for this endorsement, cross my heart. Anyways, check out the video of Ralph Macchio getting GRILLED.
Continue reading GRILLED: Ralph Macchio »GRILLED: Steven Weber

I LOOOOVED him on Wings as I'm sure millions more did. And from movies like Single White Female, those Stephen King horror movies, and tons and tons and tons of TV appearances. Oh he's also been on Broadway and now he's back on the great white way playing an under-achieving English teacher in The Philanthropist...that's what he came on the show to promote.
And you know if you stop by the PIX11 morning news, you have to get GRILLED by moi. My first question? Single White Female or Single Black Producer (haha!) I really did ask hat. Watch the video for his response. IN YOUR FACE SINGLE WHITE FEMALE, IN YOUR FACE!!!!! (says single black producer)

Vegas headliners Penn and Teller are tackling the small screen with their new magic-debunking reality series, Penn & Teller: Bulls***!
These magicians' mission is to expose the truth behind magic tricks to an otherwise gullible public. In Penn & Teller: Bulls***!, the crusaders utilize principles of magic and trickery, as well as good old fashioned "hidden camera" sting operations, to expose to the public how traditional magicians and tricksters operate.
In a deeper vein, Penn & Teller have discovered that the evidence debunking bogus operatives exists in countless books, scientific papers and government-sponsored exposés - research that nobody else has presented to the public with such zeal, passion, and conviction. It is Penn & Teller's self-proclaimed mission to "shoot down whack-jobs and fuzzy thinkers."
Penn & Teller's Vegas act offers a fusion of illusion and comedy. Penn Jillette is a raconteur; Teller generally uses mime while performing, although his voice can occasionally be heard throughout their performance. They specialize in gory tricks, exposing quacks and frauds, performing clever pranks.
Penn & Teller: Bulls***! airs Thursdays at 10pm on Showtime.

Top 5 Job Search Tips

Jobs are plummeting in the Big Apple. Here to show you how to use the tactics of honest spin to find employment, in this tough job market, is our old friend Ara Chekmayan, an expert on public relations and job acquisition and the CEO of Tactical Public Relations.
For years we've heard the term spin as applied to politics, celebrities, athletes, etc. What is spin? It is - when honestly done - merely presenting facts in the most advantageous light for the person presenting them.
Here are five keys that we've identified where using public relations tools can help a person find work in a tough economy:
1. Your appearance must be impeccable. Think of President Barack Obama. His campaign for president was a masterpiece of public relations. Think of his image. Whatever the circumstance, he was always both impeccably and appropriately dressed. He is also in great physical condition which exudes energy and ability.
When you interview for a job - especially in the current environment - assume plenty of competition and make sure that when you walk through the door your appearance says, "I am the best for this job."
You do not have to dress lavishly but for an office job, for example, a pressed navy blue suit, white shirt, well shined shoes and neat haircut are going to speak volumes about you.

Emily spoke to the stars of the film Easy Virtue, which makes it American debut this Friday, May 22. Star Jessica Biel plays Larita, an American who marries an Englishman.
"The twenties have roared... the thirties have yet to swing. John Whittaker, a young Englishman, falls madly in love with Larita, a sexy and glamorous American woman, and they marry impetuously. However, when the couple returns to the family home, his mother Mrs. Whittaker has an instant allergic reaction to her new daughter-in-law," according to the movie's official page.
| Video Link To Jessica Biel's Seductive Striptease From Powder Blue *WARNING* NSFW |
"Larita tries her best to fit in but fails to tiptoe through the minefield laid by her mother-in-law. Larita quickly realizes Mrs. Whittaker's game and sees that she must fight back if she's not going to lose John. A battle of wits ensues and sparks soon fly. Mrs. Whittaker manipulates every situation to undermine her, while Larita remains frustratingly calm and engineers sassy counter attacks. Before long, Mrs. Whittaker' s manipulation starts to work on John and Larita feels their love is in danger of slipping away"

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing great. I'm on Week 28. It's hard to believe how quickly time is flying by. So many things happening emotionally. Talk about being overwhelmed sometimes! The body is starting to feel heavier and I definitely have the pregnant woman waddle :) . Sometimes, when I catch myself I have try to straighten up but it's hard to do. LOL
The baby is growing and I feel it every day. I can't seem to wrap my mind around what is going to happen in a few short week.
I just read a book and it said in the 28th week, the baby already has hair and has about 2% to 3% body fat. And the book tells me to talk to baby all the time. So if you see me talking to myself, I'm really talking to the baby. Ha!
I did have a crazy three-hour class on breast feeding at Real Birth in NYC. It's amazing what the body is going to do. I wish I could get into everything I learned but I can't. Let's just say they don't call it a miracle for nothing :)
Anyway, have a great weekend. Hope your Memorial Day will be a good one.

GRILLED: Arden Myrin

When I asked Mad TV star Arden Myrin to pick between her show Mad TV and Saturday Night LIVE. I kinda knew would go with SNL, I would too if i were in her shoes. And no, it doesn't mean she's a traitor or disloyal...She's just really smart.
See, for those of you who don't know, after 14 seasons, Mad TV will be no more. But SNL isn't going anywhere anytime soon. So she knew what she was doing by making that choice. I think she would be a good replacement for Amy Poehler who just left and do weekend update with Seth Meyers. It's all coming together in my head. I feel like such a visionary ..yeah right, more like a pimp if I have to be honest.
Anyways, talking to the very funny and eternally chipper Miss Myrin, I realized that she and i have something in common. No, I'm not blond like she is, not quite as funny, and probably not even as smart. Our similarity isn't really that deep. But here it is..we both write blogs. I write the GRILLED blogs and she writes hers and I promised her I would talk about it...so just log on to www.ardenmyrin.com/blog, but before you do, check out her GRILLED video. Seriously you should. There's a lot more deep stuff revealed there; and there's shallow stuff too if that's what you're into. I've got it all covered...I aim to please.

12 seconds to the big reveal.
5 more. 3-2-1...
TEYONA ANDERSON!!!!!!

They have gym memberships for those who love to workout and sports leagues for those who live to play sports. So why not something for those who love to play music?
Everyday musicians from all over the city come to a place on the West Side called The Studio. It's like a gym membership in some respects. In this case the equipment isn't weights or StairMasters. It's guitars, drums and amps.
The Studio gives you access to other musicians and gets you in and out with their equipment set up and ready to go. Now it's even better. There's a new event called "On Stage Live." It takes it to the next level letting you play alongside real pro's.
Many New York musicians use the studio strickly as a rehearsal space. But there are memberships which have the added benefit of actually having built-in performance nights at good clubs like The Bitter End and others.
If you have a band, but don't have time to find gigs and you want to play out a bit, that's one good way to do it. And you don't have to shlep your gear! It's all ready waiting for you.
The Studio is located at 251 W. 30th Street #3WR (btwn 7th and 8th Aves). For more information, call (212) 967-6124 or visit www.thestudio.org.

Sexy Man Chuck Wicks Showcases His Country Charm 'Starting Now'

He recently competed alongside girlfriend Julianne Hough on Dancing With the Stars--country singer Chuck Wicks spoke with us about his new album, entitled Starting Now.
Starting Now is Wicks' debut album. The effort came in at number 24 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 20,000 copies in its first week. Wicks co-wrote all but one of the songs. Three singles have been released from the album to high acclaim: "Stealing Cinderella", which reached #5 on the Hot Country Songs charts, "All I Ever Wanted", which peaked at #14, and "Man of the House".
One of Wicks' first big breaks came when one of the songs he wrote, called "Lead Me On," was recorded by Steve Holy on his 2006 album Brand New Girlfriend. Upon being picked up by RCA Records the following year, Wicks' debut single, "Stealing Cinderella," was released. The track produced the biggest debut for any new country artist in all of 2007, becoming the fastest-climbing debut country single in 2007.
He and Hough competed as a couple on Dancing With the Stars' eighth season. They were eliminated from the show last month. Wicks also appeared on the American reality series Nashville, which aired on Fox for two episodes.
Starting Now is in stores today. For information on Wicks' upcoming tour dates, visit: www.chuckwicks.com

Hi Everyone,
Hope your week went well. I just finished an interview with Angie Harmon. What a beautiful woman and to think that she is a mother of three. Ugh... I can't even imagine looking that beautiful all the time. Some people are truly blessed and she is so down-to-earth. We can all aspire right?
This week has been really interesting. There were lots of things to do. My husband and I will be taking a marathon baby class this weekend at Real Birth. It's not something I'm looking forward to but I have so many questions and such little time that I have to get to work.
Other than that, we are doing great. The baby is getting bigger and there is no question that I am pregnant.
Hope you all have a great weekend!
- Sukanya
