Suki: This Baby Book Is Great Resource
Hi Everyone,
It's Week 24 and, well, I'm starting to panic a little. So many things have to be crossed off that check list and well I think I've done two :)
I had a slight panic attack yesterday but, luckily, I was able to just get over it mostly because I received this amazing book from Parenting and Babytalk. I've been very apprehensive about reading too much about pregnancy and didn't want to psyche myself out. But when this book came across my desk, I had to pick it up.
The book is from the editors of The Babytalk Insider's Guide to Your Baby's First Year and it truly has been a Godsend. It kind of helps you think about your parenting style, breast feeding and just so many other things that I have not thought about. I recommend it because it doesn't just preach just one technique.
Other than that, things are going on very well. Six months and counting and, boy, is it going by fast. Hope you have a great weekend and I'll talk to you soon.

hi Suki, I'm so happy for you, I think you will do great as a mom. I have two (jaida 6yrs and jakai 3yrs)kids and it's a wonderful experience.You have a great sense of humor so trust me you'll love the crazy things children do LOL.I wish you the best!
Hi Sukanya how are you and the baby i must tel you being pregnant fits you, you are a very beatiful pregnant person any way as am other of four let me tell you this no matter what those books say your baby decides what he/she likes the most so just use your mother gifts to know whats best for your baby and god will guide you the rest of the way. Ur friend even tho you don't know me Lol
Hi Suki, You look great and don't worry, everything will be fine. I absolutely loved being pregnant and would be pregnant all the time if I could. Of course, NOT POSSIBLE, and could never handle the turn out. I have 2 children, one 4yr old girl and an 11yr old boy and what a job they are. I work nights full time and believe me that is easier but I wouldn't change a thing. They are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Believe me, being a parent is the most difficult but the absolute, without a doubt most rewarding thing you will ever do. I read something once and in fact cut it out and pasted it into my sons journal that I kept while I was pregnant with him, "HAVING A CHILD IS LIKE AGREEING TO LET YOUR HEART WALK AROUNG OUTSIDE YOUR BODY." This is so true. You also may want to read a book that I read when I was pregnant the first time. It is "The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy" by Vicki Iovine. It is hysterical and I think you need to relax and laugh a little. It calmed my nerves during tough times. You'll love it. Good luck to you and stay happy. You are a great role model for ALL!! Jenn
