Shaun Robinson Enlightens Today's Impressionable Youth With 'Exactly As I Am'

Access Hollywood's co-anchor and host Shaun Robinson stopped by to talk about her new book, Exactly As I Am: Celebrated Women Share Candid Advice with Today's Girls on What It Takes to Believe in Yourself.

As an entertainment journalist, Robinson has had her fair share of big-name celebrities, both on camera and behind the scenes. As such, she has been approached by many young girls seeking self-assurance, and asking how they could be more like their favorite stars. In the book, Robinson shares both the honest comments she’s heard from the young women and the heartfelt and encouraging advice she’s been in the rare position to glean from today’s most notable women. The result is a book that will inspire girls to find their inner strength, grow confident, and believe in themselves.

Before joining Access Hollywood, Robinson was a reporter and anchor for WSVN-TV in Miami, Florida. covering the Clinton impeachment hearings and Hurricane George, which devastated the Florida Keys. She also traveled to Oklahoma to profile survivors of the Oklahoma City bombing. She has been featured in In Style magazine, Us Weekly, Ebony, Essence and was named as one of Honey magazine's "Hot 100." Her television and film credits include cameo appearances in Bruce Almighty, Charmed, The Parkers, The Proud Family, and Half & Half.
