Answering ads on Craigslist requires street smarts as does talking to strangers anywhere! So let's get a grip on reality. Craigslist is fabulous if you know how to use it.

We all know that answering to one of these adds you are taking a risk. So why put yourself in danger. You never know who is @ the other end of the add. It could be some sicko murder, or someone is an illness, you just never know so why out your self in that position.

I have looked at craigslist for years. I usually post ads. I know i've taken a chance posting ads and then allowing people in my home where my 11 yr old son also lives. I have met my best friend on craigslist. However I realized that it could of gone either way. I thought i was prepared for trouble but never prepared for a person having a gun, can you really be prepared for that? I'm glad that nothing bad came out of my ads.

I feel horrible that the girl went to boston to meet a guy and was killed. The good thing is that she told people where she was going and what for.
