For me, the Economy is horrible. I just recently lost my job of almost 9 yrs. Luckily enough my husband still has a job of almost 9 yrs and he also hold the family benefits. However, we are still struggling and its very hard to receive any kind of assistance when you are considered middle class. Hopefully, this nightmare will end soon .

Thank you for listening,

Jennifer

Its a tough situation, things seem to be getting better, but It's still not so good its going to get better after America has found its balance again, going back to basic necessities.

I'll be off to college in two years and I feel bad for those headed there in the fall, with scholarships being drastically rare right about now, its going to take alot of cash and financial aid.

I am positive and optimistic about our economy. President Obama is optimistic. He is working hard to steer the economy back on track and is restoring confidence in us. We see positive signs already. And when you got the World (G20) leaders working hard together as a team, I feel recovery is already in progress.

You've got to be kidding. I don't know how anyone affords anything anymore. EVERYTHING has gone up, but salaries sure don't to compensate. It's a constant struggle and it is very depressing to even try to survive. Forget living on your own and being single. Unless you make really good money, it's almost impossible. People stay in toxic relationships because they can't afford to get out of one. That's absurd, but it's the truth. Who can even afford to go back to school to try to better themselves and make a better living. I know I can't. I make too much to get financial aid or help from the government, yet I still can't afford my monthly bills on my own. You tell me----how does a person get ahead. This country is in despair and us average income citizen's just work to struggle to pay the heat and electric bills, let alone the unGodly rent costs around here. They keep taking from us, but we never see a light at the end of the tunnel. I think we should become communists and everyone should live at the same pay scale. We would see then who the real people are. Some people complain about something going wrong with their pool, they are only going to the shore on vacation this year, etc. Yeah well, I will never be fortunate enough to own a house to even HAVE a pool, and I can't even afford a weekend at the NJ shore let alone being able to take a real vacation anywhere else in this world. I go to work, work my butt off, come home, and am not able to do much else in life but struggle to pay my bills. Something has to be done---it is ridiculous that a person in this free country of ours, with all that we have to offer, has to struggle the way that I do and I'm sure many other people do, just to have the necessities in life. Let's not even get onto the health insurance topic.....I think this government has disgraced us and we're paying the price, they aren't. They live a lot larger than we do.
