Question Of The Day: With The Swine Flu Outbreak, Do You Feel Safe Traveling?

I don't feel safe, I have four kids and my daughter has a heart conidition and with all the mexicans who are able to come here to work have me scared because the come here work make their money to send to mexico then leave serious condition for us AMERICANS to deal with I don't find it fair and I'm uncomfortable!

I don't feel safe traveling to mexico anytime in the near future.

I agree with Cindy. Where I live there are lots of mexicans ,and I know that none of them are here with there papers .i notice that as the days get warmer more and more are moving onto my block.I mean i dont have a problem with them living here but if there are not being ckecked befor entering the US that puts all of us at danger.I think the US should beef up the security at the border so no one can get in.I dont want to sound mean but I have 4 kids and I dont want my kids to be sick because someone who dont belong here sunk in and gets everybody sick

Anyone can come back from a trip to Mexico and spread the virus. It doest matter if your American or Mexican.

A good start would be to stop all air travel to and from Mexico into the US. I think the modern airline system is the biggest threat in turning it into an global epidemic.

Hi Dr. Steve,

My niece is 3 months pregnant and leaving next week for Mexico for a weeks vacation. Her and her husband feel it's safe because they are going to an all exclusive resort. Is there any need to worry, my sister is a mess.
