Unlike what I've heard in the past from blogs and general comments, I've been extremely happy with Sprint's customer service!! So, I'm waiting with baited breath for the Palm Pre to be released!

I'm an Apple user all the way. Highly doubt I will give up my iPhone any time soon. I think this phone (iPhone) made smartphones accessible to the average cell phone user. If I needed a phone for business usage, maybe I would take a look at the Palm Pre...but there again, most "iPhone's Killers" so far have been pretty disappointing...

I'm going with the Pal Pre. The iPhone 3.0 is nice don't get me wrong however it appears that the Pre does more and the new OS that the Pre has seems to be awesome.

i go with the palm pre it is faster better and nicer than the iphone. it has double the ram and has been seen loading pages 3x faster than the iphone. with its app store and web based kits there will be tones of apps includeing apps that ran on palmOS. the keyboard is great. it has true multitasking abilities and sprints network is great unlike att and iphone who are currently being sued by people for false advertising saying that the have fast 3g connections when 90% of the time they arent fast enough to even be considered 3g. and sprint is soon to be rolling out its 4g network for even faster speeds. plus the palms inductive charging is a great feature. no wires to charge wow!! it has copy and paste and all the options that iphone has only better faster strong. GO PRE!!! Apple finally has something to worry about. i vote palm pre all the way

Personally I am rooting for the Plam Pre. I have been waiting a long time for a smart phone other then the iPhone (Blackberry storm doesn’t count). The big selling points that I really loved to see were the full tactile QWERTY keyboard and the function of synergy. No matter how much the iPhone tries it just isn’t going to be able to multi task like the Pre will. Although I do acknowledge Apple’s attempt to compete using their push notifications on the upcoming 3.0 firmware update. That will also greatly enhance the iPhone’s functionality. All said and done when the dust has settled I think it will be a battle for people who don’t already own an iPhone. I am not saying this for every case but it just seems like Apple’s community is too strong to really dig into already existing customers. I have been a Verizon customer for six years now and I am growing tired of their poor phone selection. I want something above and beyond. I am willing to leave them for Sprint as long as the Pre lives up to the hype.

Comparing the Palm Pre to the iPhone is not doing the Pre justice! This phone appears to be a game-changer.

As far as concerns about it being on Sprint's network, that to me is a non-issue. I've been a Sprint customer for several years and have never experienced an issue with their network or customer service. It seems to me Sprint's main problem is a poor public perception, which from my vantage point is unwarranted.

I think that if you give the option to have one of them - I will choose the amazing Palm Pre !!!
This is first time (for the last 2 years) that I'm thinking there is a better option...

ROTFLMAO

it's not a matter of comparison your average user will not fully tap into the phones true potential. when it comes to os's apple has really given people a simple interface that anyone can pick up and use. the iphone is the wii of the cell phone world. One other thing apple has 1 phone, all they have to keep doing is upgrade the hardware and keep improving the os...
