Help Me Howard: Woman Accrues Thousands In Interest From Deffered Payment

A woman paid $4,000 worth of furniture from Thomasville, using their GE Capitol Credit Program. With their deferred payment plan, she had a year to pay it off before she’d have to pay interest.
Unfortunately, the year ended before she finished paying it off and she still owed $1,000 on the payment. That’s when she found out that the interest starts accruing from the date of the purchase and now she owes $3,000 in interest, so she called Help Me Howard.
