Hal Sparks Talks About 'Tak And The Power Of Juju'

hal0407.jpg

Actor/comedian Hal Sparks stopped by to talk about his Nickelodeon animated cartoon Tak and The Power of Juju and his band ZERO 1's latest album.

Sparks voices main character Tak, a teenaged Shaman's assistant in the Pupujuju tribe. One day, Tak is mysteriously given the power of juju -- something normally given to elders -- and is able to cast spells, travel to different realms and talk to other juju. Although the gift of juju would be anyone's dream, Tak's inexperience leads him to complications and trouble for his friends.

Born in Ohio but raised in Kentucky, Sparks gained fame from his role as Michael Novotny on the TV series Queer as Folk and as host of E!'s Talk Soup. When he's not voice acting in a sound booth, Sparks studies martial arts

Tak and The Power of Juju airs Saturdays at 7:30am on Nickelodeon. For more on Sparks, visit www.myspace.com/halsparksisfunny and for more on ZERO 1, visit www.myspace.com/zero1band.
