Free Friday: Spring Education Expo, EGGstravaganza

Each week we're telling viewers about events, activities and items that are free. That's right! No money required!

This week's free list:
1. Learning made fun with snacks on hand, performances, children's yoga class, workshops and prize raffles-including a roundtrip JetBlue plane ticket at the Spring Education Expo
2. Celebrate the beautiful weather at the 3rd Annual Spring EGGstravaganza at the Hudson River Park with egg dyeing, games, snacks and live performances - including a special guest appearance by Spongebob Squarepants

The Spring Education Expo brings the many education programs and resources in NYC to one central venue where parents, educators, and education leaders can find education opportunities in person - FREE! All are welcome to attend and enjoy: goody bags, education workshops, a children's yoga class by Little Flower Yoga, a theater performance by Striking Viking Story Pirates, prize raffles including a roundtrip JetBlue plane ticket, lunches for booth vendors and light snacks for attendees.

Spring Eggstravaganza
Saturday, April 25 from 1pm - 4pm
Location: Hudson River Park's Pier 45 at West and Christopher Streets, Manhattan

Come out for the Friends of Hudson River Park's third annual Spring Eggstravaganza. This free festival is a fun-filled salute to spring that includes face painting, egg dyeing, games, snacks and prizes for the kids, along with live bluegrass, folk, sea chanteys, and rock-n-roll performed by the Mercantillers. Special guest appearance from Nickelodeon's Sponge Bob Square Pants!
