Electricity-Powered Ultra Motor A2B Bike Offers State-Of-The-Art Tech

bike%200420.jpg

According to the Environmental Protection Agency, cars contribute more than half of our transportation emissions, and a large part of those emissions are a result of taking short trips (3 miles or less).

That’s why Ultra Motor developed the A2B, a state-of-the-art electric bike that is changing the way consumers think about getting from Point A to Point B.

The A2B offers a cheaper, greener alternative to the car for short trips. Some of its features include allowing riders to choose between pedaling and using electric power, and a combination of both. The battery lasts for up to 20 miles at a cruising speed of 20 mph, offering the ability to power up hills without breaking a sweat.

Ultra Motor CEO Chris Deyo stopped by to talk about why the A2B is an innovative approach to improving our environment without sacrificing the speed and convenience of traveling by car. He also brought a model of the A2B on-hand to demonstrate its capabilities live.

I have purchased one of those from www.nycewheels.com a couple of weeks ago. I commute from Astoria to the upper West side. It has cut my commuting time in half.

Good job Bert, you are a natural (but don't quit your day-time job yet)

I teach piano and need to go from apartment to apartment in NYC. Since I'm almost 60 years old, my love of going uphill has diminished, so using my BionX electric bike system has made my professional life a real joy. I thought I'd have a security problem since I lock my bike up outside at different locations throughout Manhattan, but it's been easy and nobody can steal my battery. I just love my BionX system. As I've written numerous times, we just need to clear the cars off one downtown avenue and one crosstown street (for starters). And get rid of the cars in the Central Park!!
