It's An Earth Day Light Bulb And Ice Cream Giveaway!
Today is Earth Day and Sylvania is putting a new twist on the day by taking over a Mister Softee ice cream truck and handing out free soft-serve ice cream which conveniently resembles the shape of a compact fluorescent light bulb! In addition, we’ll be handing out product coupons to encourage New Yorkers to switch to compact fluorescent lamps!
Our Lisa Mateo is live in PIX Plaza (42nd Street and 2nd Avenue) handing out the bulb-shaped ice cream to kick off a bright (and tasty) Earth Day! There'll also be a Sylvania representative talk about the benefits of CFL technology and Living Spaces CFLs.
