Heartthrob Channing Tatum Has Some 'Fight' In Him

chaning0420.jpg

Channing Tatum stopped by our studio to talk about starring in the new movie Fighting.

Tatum plays Shawn MacArthur, a small-town boy who is down on his luck upon coming to New York City. His life transforms when he meets scam artist Harvey Boarden--played by Terrence Howard--who recognizes MacArthur for his streetfighting abilities. The two form a partnership in an aim to capitalize on his talent.

An Alabama native, Tatum began his career in the limelight as a fashion model, working for clients such as Armani and Abercrombie & Fitch. He soon branched out into acting, with roles in Havoc, Coach Carter, Supercross, She's the Man, Step Up, and A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints. Last year, Tatum co-starred in Stop-Loss.

Fighting hits theaters this Friday. Stay tuned tomorrow when Tatum's co-star Brian White stops by tomorrow and Zunlay Henao comes in on Wednesday to talk about the movie.

Hello, I watch CW11 Morning News every morning and really enjoy it. I am also a big fan of Linda Church, she is very pleasant to watch and I enjoy her down to earth nature. She does an excellent job with the weather and I can honestly say I've never looked forward to weather until me and my husband started watching you guys back in 2002. Keep up the good work Linda.

I just wanted to say thank you for having Channing Tatum as a guest today. I am a huge fan of his and did not know that he was going to be on today so i was happily suprised when i found out that he was appearing after the commercial break. Sukanya, I was wondering how you stayed so cool and calm while interviewing him. Needless to say I would have been a nervous wreck. I admire him as a person, actor, and entertainer. Will you ever have him on again?

Congratulations Sukanya! You look absolutely beautiful, good luck with the new baby. Lucky Channing got to rub the Booda! I also missed Jill today, she is another highlight of the show. Thank you guys for making my mornings delightful and thanks again for having Channing Tatum on. You can let him know that he brightened up my day.
