Funnywoman Carol Leifer Says 'When You Lie About Your Age, The Terrorists Win'

Meet the real life "Elaine" from Seinfeld. Long Island native Carol Leefer is the woman behind the beloved character, a comedian, a writer and an author. Did we mention she was also a producer for comedy shows like Seinfeld, The Larry Sanders Show and Saturday Night Live just to name a few.

The woman does it all and now Leefer is helping people come to terms with growing old in her new book When You Lie About Your Age, The Terrorists Win: Reflections on Looking in the Mirror. In it she talks about topics like technology, collagen and plastic surgery, etiquette and drinking. On drinking, Leifer says, "Every bottle of tequila should be sold with a disposable camera attached to it so you have some idea of what happened the next day."
